Malone University is conducting a strategic assessment of python pheromones for control of the Burmese Python with the Everglades State Park in Florida. University professors are working on various behavioral trials with very ambitious and gifted undergraduate chemistry majors. They directly supervise all activities and testing. The ultimate goal is to use the data from this project to make management recommendations that include pheromone control as a tool to help manage this population of invasive species.
