Ecological Awareness Project

For Ohio and the Earth to ensure their future ecological heath, students need exposure to natural environments and the human-induced impacts on them.  This is a three part project aimed at developing the ecological awareness of students attending schools serviced by the Stark County ESC.  This will be implemented through hands-on experiences with technology provided  by the Stark County ESC’s Science And Math on the Move (SAMM) program, presentations on biodiversity in the rainforests of Central and South America by Richard Kern, and presentations on marine research by Dr. Austin Gallagher of Beneath the Waves.
